We were privileged to be a part of God’s work in a young single mom’s life. She found herself in crisis when she became pregnant by the man she and her beautiful two-year-old daughter had been forced to live with because she had no place else to go. Her boyfriend insisted she have an abortion and claimed he would not sign off for an adoption. A friend of hers found out that an abortion appointment was set for that Saturday and she called her church for help. The church contacted us and brought her in. What a pleasure it was to watch God begin to soften this street-tough young woman as she realized she was being surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her and her daughter as well as her unborn baby.
