Abstinence Programs
At Blue Water, we strive to incorporate the message of abstinence in everything we do. Our peer counselors are trained to discuss abstinence with our clients and God's plan for sex within marriage.
We also have a course entitled Relationships & Sex that is offered to all of our clients based on the Choose to Wait curriculum.
Baby Bucks Program
Our Learn While You Earn program encourages our clients to take advantage of our educational classes and DVDs to educate them about parenting. Our clients receive baby bucks for each class they attend or DVD they watch. They can use these baby bucks to purchase baby equipment such as high chairs, strollers, car seats and receive other needed baby items such as formula, diapers, wipes and clothing. Through meeting with their peer counselor on a regular basis, they develop a relationship of trust and encouragement.
